Badir helps promising startups demonstrate their innovations at Arab Innovation Conference

The Arab Innovation Conference has entered its third and final day today. Held at the Dubai World Trade Center, the conference is focused on innovations and technologies that could drive the evolution of businesses and financial services, along with healthcare, science, energy and environment sectors. King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, represented by Badir Program for Technology Incubators and Accelerators, has been an active participant in the conference from day one. Among other contributions, Badir Program also offered promising Saudi startups a chance to demonstrate their innovative ideas and projects to a large gathering of investors and industry experts. Elaborating the significance of the Conference, Nawaf Al Sahhaf, CEO of Badir Program, said: "The forum provides a good opportunity to connect with participants and exchange business and innovation experiences. The participation of international and Arab companies to show their innovations with a series of accompanying workshops is considered as a crucial event which can be invested in building effective partnerships and understandings that help to provide sustainable solutions by deepening the concept of innovation and incorporating it in all strategies.

He added that Badir has some innovative incubators to support emerging businesses in the fields of financial services, technology, healthcare, and transportation. The event also saw a number of pioneering projects and innovations by Badir-incubated startups being pitched to investors.
