Bahrain hosts Women Power Summit, MENA’s largest summit dedicated to women empowerment

May 7, 2018

Obai and Hill, a leading PR firm in Bahrain and rest of the Middle East, launched the inaugural edition of Women Power Summit, the largest female empowerment-centric event in the MENA region. Held by Imtiaz for Her, under the patronage of H.H. Shaikha Hessa Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Executive Director INJAZ Bahrain, the Women Power Summit kicked off on a high note on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at the Isa Cultural Center.

The purpose of the summit is to give the participants a platform to share their victories, defeats, life lessons, and other notable experiences. Additionally, it serves as a powerful platform where like-minded, talented women can network and possibly even collaborate on new ideas.

The multi-dimensional Summit included insightful panel discussions, mentor sessions, workshops, and more.

“This summit is a celebration of the women who have joined us today. I see the largest gathering of past, present and future women leaders before me today. We hold the keys to our future and are in the driving seat. We need to drive towards promoting entrepreneurship, women in tech, workplace flexibility, strong representation and achievement, medical education amongst so much more - so that women can contribute as fully as possible to the national and global economy.” said H.H. Shaikha Hessa Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa.

Founded in 2005, INJAZ Bahrain is a non-profit with its roots in the Junior Achievement Worldwide. The organization helps young people fine-tune their abilities to achieve economic empowerment, while simultaneously preparing them to handle today’s business challenges aptly.
