Jun 22, 2025

BENEFIT, Bahrain’s leading innovator in fintech and electronic financial services, has announced the launch of the fourth cycle of its flagship internship initiative, Masar. The annual program continues its mission to nurture Bahraini youth by offering immersive, real-world training in the fast-evolving fintech sector.

This year, 40 aspiring participants will take part in Masar, gaining hands-on experience through high-level workshops, mentorship, and exposure to cutting-edge financial technologies. Open to university students across the Kingdom and members of the BENEFIT team, the program reinforces the organization’s commitment to inclusive talent development and national capacity building.

Aligned with Bahrain’s broader digital economy goals, Masar is more than just an internship—it’s a launchpad for future fintech leaders. Participants will work on real-time projects guided by BENEFIT’s industry professionals, building not just technical know-how but also critical problem-solving and innovation skills.

“We are pleased to launch the fourth edition of the Masar program, building on the strong foundation and success of its previous cycles,” said Mr. Salah Al Awadhi, Chief Human Resources Officer at BENEFIT. “This initiative reflects our commitment to advancing national talent and equipping Bahraini youth with the specialised skills required to thrive in the FinTech sector—an increasingly vital pillar of the digital economy.”

He added that this year’s edition is designed to help shape a generation that can confidently respond to the industry’s evolving needs: “We firmly believe that investing in human capital is fundamental to sustainable progress, and we are confident in the ability of Bahraini youth to play a leading role in shaping the Kingdom’s digital future.”

Masar directly supports Bahrain’s Vision 2030 and the national goal of building a resilient, knowledge-based economy—placing experiential learning at the heart of fintech transformation.
