Bahrain Technology Companies Society or BTech, as they are commonly called, has inked a cooperation agreement with leading event management platform WorkSmart to host the ninth edition of MEET ICT and Bahrain International Technology Exhibition (Bitex). To be hosted in Manama, MEET ICT prides itself as one of the biggest information and communication tech (ICT) events in the region. Same goes for Bitex, a popular tech exhibition that draws hundreds of innovators and tech industry leaders from across the region and beyond.   The forthcoming edition of these events will be hosted under the patronage of Kamal bin Ahmed, Minister of Transporation and Telecommunication, at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain from March 19 to 21, 2019. "The forthcoming edition of Meet ICT and Bitex 2018 will see a qualitative leap in organising this event, with the aim of attracting the widest possible participation of local, regional and international companies to maximise the potential of the ICT sector in Bahrain, enhance the ICT contribution to GDP and to support the policy of diversifying sources of income," said BTech chairman Ubaydli Ubaydli. As always, MEET ICT and Bitex bring the perfect platform for participating startups and entrepreneurs the perfect setup to interact and network with some of the most high-profile business and political leaders, government officials, executive managers, and industry influencers.
