Export Bahrain, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), has taken significant strides in expanding the global presence of Bahraini businesses through participation in major international events. This partnership, focused on unlocking new market opportunities, facilitated the participation of Bahraini enterprises in high-profile trade shows throughout 2024.

As part of this collaboration, Export Bahrain showcased local brands at prestigious exhibitions such as the HKTDC Food Expo PRO, the Hong Kong International Tea Fair, and the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair. These events provided a platform for Bahraini enterprises to explore international markets and highlight their innovative products to a global audience.

One of the standout events was CENTRESTAGE, Asia’s leading international fashion trade show, held from September 4-7 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event featured runway shows, designer showcases, and industry seminars, offering Bahraini fashion brands a prime opportunity to engage with industry leaders and gain insights into the latest trends.

Export Bahrain’s participation in these events significantly boosted the visibility of Bahraini brands, with over 45 business-to-business (B2B) meetings taking place, further enhancing the global potential of local enterprises. This involvement underscores Bahrain’s growing reputation as a global business hub, with increased opportunities for SMEs to expand into international markets.
