Hurry Up! Pitch@Palace Bahrain is back and is accepting applications from promising local startups

Feb 27, 2019

After the grand success of the inaugural edition, Pitch@Palace is coming back for its second Bahrain edition this year. If you think your startup could use the exposure guaranteed by this globally renowned platform, Tamkeen wants you to apply for a spot in the competition.

Registrations are currently open and will continue through March 8, 2019.

Launched by Prince Andrew the Duke of York in 2014, Pitch@Palace first came to Bahrain last year under the prerogative of Tamkeen. The competition is designed to facilitate an interactive and integrated program that empowers participants to gain unrestricted access to the mentorship, support, and expertise of highly skilled and experienced professionals from across the world.

Additionally, the competition serves as an ideal destination for any entrepreneur who wants to connect with an influential international business network.

The local round of Pitch@Palace Bahrain 2.0 will kick off in April 2019 and will witness some of the Kingdom’s finest entrepreneurs pitching their projects to a panel of judges. This panel will include eminent personalities from the realms of entrepreneurship, technology, investment, and media.

The top-2 performing entrepreneurs will then get a chance to represent Bahrain in the global edition of the competition, to be held at St James Palace in the UK later this year.

According to Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi, Chief Executive of Tamkeen, Pitch@Palace Bahrain is perfectly in sync with the broader objective of Bahrain’s Vision 2030. He added that the competition helps the homegrown entrepreneurial community by enhancing their competitive spirit and bringing new development opportunities.
