The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has inked a new deal with Infosys Finacle, a part of Infosys subsidiary EdgeVerve. The objective behind the move is to digitally transform NBB’s transaction banking business and enhance its efficiency with customer preferences and entitlements across channels.

The deal will see Infosys Finacle providing its Cash Management Suite that will enable NBB to offer a comprehensive range of features and services including the likes of self-service modes and the ability to streamline payments.

“This partnership comes as part of NBB’s digital transformation, with the upgrades provided by the suite set to further enhance the seamless service already provided to the Bank’s client,” said Hisham Al Kurdi, Chief Executive - Corporate and Institutional Investment Banking at NBB.

He added, “The front-to-back integrated cash management solution from Infosys Finacle will help deliver a world-class banking experience to our corporate and institutional customers, thereby driving the growth of our transaction banking business even further.”

The integration of Infosys Finacle's services will also add to NBB's ability to streamline corporate customer payments, reduce financial risks to minimum, and manage liquidity more effectively.
