The results of SeedStars Ramallah 2018, one of the main attractions at the Global Entrepreneurship Week, Palestine, are out following an intense competition featuring seven promising startups from across the sovereign. Organized by Growth for Training and Development, the competition was initially supposed to include a total of nine startups, although two of them couldn’t, unfortunately, leave Gaza in time. Inggez, an emerging tech firm offering a unique fitness app that allows users access to workout locations of their choice without requiring a membership, topped the charts as the best Palestinian startup in the competition. With this victory, the company has now qualified to be a part of the global SeedStars Family. Among other perks, this will give Inggez access to regional and global SeedStars Summits and all the boot camps, investor forums, and other activities that these events bring along. JWAR followed Inggez at the second spot. JWAR specializes in making products that complement high-tech and sophisticated virtual services. Gamiphy, a startup that provides a user-engagement platform for helping businesses retain and acquire more customers, won the third prize. The competition was judged by a high-profile panel of experts and business leaders comprising  Jamal Hourani from Arab Bank; Erin Keeley from Hitachi; Nael Ramadan from Social Dice; Jamal Haddad from PIF; and Ibrahim Manaa’ from Careem.
