The second cohort of One Million Arab Coders has kicked-off!

The Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) kicked off the second cohort of the One Million Arab Coders an initiative introduced by the HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, to empower Arabs with the language of the future.

And Guess what?! Arab youths from all over the world can participate in the program. All they have to do is go to the website www.arabcoders.ae/ and fill up the online registration form. The final deadline for registration is April 10.

The One Million Arab Coder initiative consists of three stages:

In the first stage, the participant is required to register in one of the two categories: Arab students or tutors.

In the second stage, they are required to complete a three-month virtual coding program. The top-1,000 performers in the second round will receive a certificate and be enlisted to be part of the Coder Challenge.

The third stage will see the top-1,000 students from the second stage competing in the coder challenge. The top-10 performers will be announced at the end of the competition.

You can either become a full-stack developer, an Android app guru, a front-end web expert or a data analyst specialist!

The best coder will receive an astounding cash prize of $1,000,000, while the other nine will receive $50,000 each. As for the top-four tutors, each will receive $200,000.
