One of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, Emirates Islamic has just introduced a unique feature - Cardless Cash Withdrawal, available on the bank’s mobile banking app.

You may be wondering, what does this unique feature entail? Well with the Cardless Cash Withdrawal, customers can request to withdraw some cash from the app, whereby they can, later on, withdraw the amount from any Emirates Islamic ATM without the need for a debit or credit card. In addition, this service allows customers to make transfers to other recipients by only using their mobile phone number - awesome right?! The recipients, in turn, will receive an SMS with a one-time pin to withdraw the amount transferred to them through an Emirates Islamic ATM.

Wasim Saifi, Deputy CEO, Consumer Banking and Wealth Management commented on the recent solution saying: “Emirates Islamic has been a pioneer in introducing digital innovations in the Islamic banking sector and we are extremely pleased to launch the Cardless Cash Withdrawal service for our customers.”

He adds that the new service provides a seamless and convenient banking experience for their customers as they can withdraw money through an app without the need for cards. “Using this account with us, who can then withdraw the cash without a Credit or Debit Card from any Emirates Islamic ATM. We are confident that this service will bring increased convenience to our customers,” he states.
